I am looking for a framework that would allow me to control java processes remotely. Here is my use case:
- Many java processes are running on a fleet of AWS servers
- I would like to use a webpage providing some service discovery, essentially listing the java processes available
- From there I would like to be able to click on one of the processes and be able to control it. Ideally, the process would expose the functionality it provides, so that the webpage may display the corresponding controls.
As far as service discovery, my understanding is that I could use something like Kubernetes, which I don't have much experience with. I would be interested in getting some pointers about things I could use on top of Kubernetes to achieve what I described above. I am open to any other advice though.
